What are the limits on each plan?
Starter, Pro, Ops and Enterprise compared by what the code enforces: saved sites, forecast days, email alerts, morning brief, fleet board, public boards and API calls per day, with the price of each.
ON THIS PAGE
01Starter: $5 a month
Starter holds 3 saved sites and uses a 7-day forecast. It includes the instrument, height-matched wind, exceedance odds, evidence records and the agent. It does not include email alerts, the morning brief, the fleet board, public board embeds, or API keys; the API allowance is zero. Starter is billed at $5 a month with no annual option. You do not need an account at all to use the instrument at /app, to read the charts and guides, or to ask the agent. A paid account is what lets you save sites and keep rules on them.
02Pro: $19 a month or $149 a year
Pro raises saved sites to 25 and the forecast range to 16 days. It is the first plan with email alerts on your rules and the morning brief by email, and the first with API keys, at 1,000 calls a day shared across your keys. Pro does not include the fleet board or the public embed snippet. Everything in Starter carries over. Pro is the plan most single-site and small-fleet operators need, because alerts and the brief are the two features that save you from checking the instrument by hand.
03Ops: $990 a year
Ops raises saved sites to 100 and API calls to 10,000 a day. It adds the fleet board, which lists every saved site with a GO, WATCH or STOP lamp, and the public embed boards. Ops is billed annually only; there is no monthly Ops price. The forecast range stays at 16 days, the same as Pro. There is no team seat or shared login feature in the product, so Ops is still one account. If several people need the same view, the public board is the way to share it.
04Enterprise: priced on request
Enterprise holds 500 saved sites, with more on request, and 100,000 API calls a day. Alerts, brief, fleet board and public boards are all included. The plan card lists dedicated onboarding and a setup built around your operation. There is no checkout for Enterprise: the card on the pricing page is labelled "Talk to us" and opens the contact form with the enterprise topic selected, and you do not need an account to send it.
05What happens at a limit
Saved sites: on /account the Add site button is disabled once you are at your limit, with a note such as "Your Starter plan holds 3 sites. Upgrade for more." If a request still reaches the server it is refused with "Your plan supports N saved sites." API calls: the daily count is per account, not per key, and resets at UTC midnight. Past the limit you receive a 429 response reading "Daily API limit of N requests reached." with a Retry-After header. Plans without API access get a 403 instead. Counting is soft, so a burst can overshoot slightly.
06Where a limit is a display limit
Forecast range is the clearest case. The instrument shows 7 days to signed-out visitors and Starter accounts and 16 days to Pro and above, and that cut is applied in the interface. Alerts are an enforcement point of a different kind: a Starter account can create and preview rules, but when the scan runs the owner's plan is checked and no email is sent without Pro. The scan counts it as skipped for plan. Read the alerts guides if an expected email never came.
07When the paywall is off
All of these gates depend on the deployment. Where the billing paywall is switched off, every account is treated as paid, so plan features open to everyone. Where it is on, a plan counts as paid only while the subscription is active or in a trial, except Ops and Enterprise, which are invoiced and need no card. The pricing page and the Plan section of /account show what your own account includes, and those are the figures to trust.
Questions
How many saved sites can I have?
Starter 3, Pro 25, Ops 100 and Enterprise 500, with more on request. Manage them in the Saved sites section of /account, where the heading shows how many you use, such as 2/3. The Add site button is disabled at your limit. Upgrading raises the limit straight away once the payment is confirmed.
What is the longest forecast I can see?
Starter and signed-out visitors see 7 days. Pro, Ops and Enterprise see 16 days. This is a limit in the interface, so the time strip simply runs longer on the higher plans. Skill falls with lead time, so treat the later days as a trend rather than a figure to plan to.
Which plans include API access?
Pro has 1,000 calls a day, Ops 10,000 and Enterprise 100,000. Starter has none. You can hold up to 5 keys, and all of them share your daily allowance. Create keys in the API keys section of /account; the full guide is linked below.
Do all plans get email alerts and the morning brief?
No. Both start on Pro and carry up to Ops and Enterprise. Starter can set up rules and use the Preview now button, but no email is sent. The morning brief also has a cap of 25 sites per email, which matches the Pro site limit.
What is the difference between the fleet board and public boards?
The fleet board is your own signed-in page at /fleet, listing every saved site sorted by the next bad hour. Public boards are read-only pages that anyone with the link can open, for sharing on a site office screen or a website. Both are on Ops and above. The live board can be reached by anyone who builds its address; the Ops plan gives you the ready-made embed snippet.
