How does the agent remember things about my operation?
The agent keeps three small things: facts you tell it, your last 30 turns, and, when signed in, your last unit and persona. Here is where each lives and how to remove it.

Steps
Open the agent panel
Press the Ask the agent button in the header of any site page such as the fleet board or alerts page, or the floating Ask the agent pill on a content page. In the instrument at /app there is no header button, so press Explain this in the inspector, or Ask on the card headed The agent noticed.
Open What I remember
In the panel header, press the brain icon labelled What I remember. A small badge on the icon shows how many facts are held. The heading inside tells you where they live: saved to your account when you are signed in, this browser only when you are not.
Read the facts
Each fact is one short line of your own words. If the list is empty the panel says "Nothing yet" and suggests saying something like "remember my jib is 85 m".
Forget a fact
Press the bin icon at the end of the fact, labelled Forget with the fact text. The fact is removed straight away. Facts are removed one at a time, there is no button that clears them all.
Clear the conversation history
Press Clear conversation history in the same drawer. This empties the on-screen thread and the stored history, and stops any answer still running. It does not remove your facts.
Teach it something new
Type a message that starts with "remember", "note" or "keep in mind", for example "remember my jib is 85 m". The fact appears in the drawer and the badge count goes up.
Tip: Keep each fact short and about your own operation. Keep it under 200 characters.
01What the agent stores
There are three kinds of memory. Facts are things you told it about your own operation, up to 40, each up to 200 characters. Duplicates are ignored regardless of capital letters, and when you pass 40 the oldest is dropped. History is your last 30 turns, a turn being one question or one answer, each cut at 2,000 characters. Preferences, kept only when you are signed in, are your last display unit and persona, per-site defaults and your morning brief settings. There is no screen that lists preferences or lets you delete them one by one,.
02How a fact gets saved
A fact is saved in two ways. If your message starts with "remember", "note" or "keep in mind", the panel stores what follows. The agent can also store a fact itself, but it is told to do this only for a lasting fact you state about your own operation, such as the height of a jib or a limit from your chart, or when you ask it to remember. There is no confirm card for this, so look at the badge on the brain icon after you say it, and forget anything that is wrong.
03Facts are context, not data
Whatever the agent remembers is passed back to it as what you told it, to be used as context. It does not replace the live forecast. Every wind figure in an answer still has to come from a tool result or the packet on screen, and earlier answers are not accepted as sources. Remembering "our limit is 20 m/s" also does not set the Limit field in the instrument, and it does not create a rule. To set the limit, use the Limit field at the top of /app, or ask the agent to save a rule and press Confirm. See why the agent asks you to confirm.
04Signed in or not
Signed in, your facts, history and preferences are held on the server against your account, so they follow you to another browser or device. The drawer heading says saved to your account. Signed out, they sit in your browser's own storage, 30 turns and 40 facts at most, and the heading says this browser only. Clearing site data, using a private window or switching browser starts you from nothing. If you sign in later, the server copy is the one used.
05What the model actually sees
Only part of your history reaches the model. When you are signed out the browser sends your last 20 turns and your fact texts with each question, and the model reads the most recent 10 turns, each cut at 1,500 characters. The 30 turn limit is therefore what is kept, not what is read. The thread you see in the panel is not restored. Reload the page and it is blank, even though the history is still stored.
06Forgetting and clearing
Removing a fact uses the bin icon next to it. Signed in, this deletes it on the server. Signed out it deletes the local copy. Clear conversation history clears turns only. Facts and preferences stay. This is the most common surprise, so if you want a fresh start you need to do both: clear the history and forget each fact. There is no setting that stops the agent remembering.
07Morning brief preview
When you are signed in the drawer has one more link, Preview my morning brief. It opens a preview of the email in a new tab and sends nothing. The agent can change your brief settings when you ask. The brief is only sent on Pro and above. See set up the morning brief.
Questions
Can the agent learn facts from my questions automatically?
Mostly no. It stores a fact when your message starts with remember, note or keep in mind, or when it judges you have stated a lasting fact about your own operation. It is told not to store anything else. It does quietly note your last display unit and persona when you are signed in.
How many facts can it hold?
Forty, each up to 200 characters. If you add more, the oldest fact drops off. Adding the same fact again, whatever the capital letters, does nothing.
Does clearing the history delete my facts?
No. Clear conversation history removes stored turns and clears the thread. Facts stay until you forget them one by one with the bin icon.
What happens to the memory if I sign out?
Signed in, it is stored on the server against your account, so it is there when you sign back in. Anything you kept while signed out stays in that browser only.
Does the agent remember what I ask in other browsers?
Only if you are signed in. A signed-out memory belongs to one browser on one device, and is lost if you clear that browser's site data.
Can I see my saved unit and persona?
Not in the agent panel. They are kept silently and used to pick sensible defaults. You can set your display unit and persona yourself in the instrument at /app, or in the display preferences on your account page.
